3 for 3000?

Only two players in Major League Baseball history have recorded their 3,000th career hit on a triple: Paul Molitor and Ichiro Suzuki. Molitor was the first, reaching the milestone on Sept. 16, 1996 with the Minnesota Twins at Kauffman Stadium. Ichiro matched the feat on Aug. 7, 2016 as a member of the Miami Marlins at Coors Field.
