Best Rivalry In Sports

When I think of Greatest Sport rivalry’s I think of The Edmonton Oilers Vs Calgary Flames maybe the Giants Vs Dodgers Lakers Vs Celtics, Habs Vs Leafs. But no my mind settles on the Yankees Vs Red Sox. This rivalry started in the early 1900s when a Red Sox player name Of Babe Ruth was sold to the Yankees for a hundred thousand dollars cash and three hundred thousand on loan which started “the curse of the Bambino” which made Sox fans at the time salty and hold grudges going over generations. which can be another trivia for another day. Babe Ruth became the “Greatest of all time” until you know players like Ohtani and Bonds showed up. The Yankees hold the Edge in the all time record of 1263-1050. Which beacuse of how many dynasty’s the Yankees had and how many Great Players they’ve had (Judge, Mantle,Ruth,Jeter) But there’s one playoff series that every MLB fan knows about the 2004 ALCS. You see the series wasn’t go well for the Red Sox until Game 4 because the Yankees who were undoubtedly the better team so far. And even then they looked to sweep and clinch at Fenway Park as they led in the 9th until a young Dave Robert’s stole second base which helped the Red Sox win the game and walk it off. Ortiz hit two walk offs one being a home run. Game 6 was Led by Curt Shillings whose right sock was soaked in blood during the game. And Game 7 was a blowout for the Sox. Since then the Yankees won 1 World Series while the Sox won 4 world series Greatest rivalry in sports? I think so
