It holds 90,000 fans, making it the biggest stadium in the UK. The famous arch is 133 meters (436 ft) tall and supports most of the stadium’s roof, replacing the old Twin Towers from the original Wembley. It’s home to the FA Cup Final, England internationals, League Cup Finals, Play-Off Finals, and has even hosted Champions League and European Championship finals. Wembley isn’t just for football either. Some of the biggest artists in the world, including Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Oasis, and Beyoncé, have all performed there. A random fact: Wembley has over 2,600 toilets—more than almost any other stadium or entertainment venue in the world.

Not in New York

Despite representing New York teams, MetLife Stadium is actually located in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The teams left New York City in 1976 when they moved from Shea Stadium and Yankee Stadium to the Meadowlands Sports Complex. Today, MetLife Stadium continues that bizarre legacy; making it the only NFL stadium home to two teams that represent a different state than where they play.
