Morocco stormed through their WCQ going 8-0 and embarrassing teams along the way. I found myself looking at the Morocco national teams games and good lord they were good. Since August of 2023 Their national team has a record of 38 wins 5 draws and 2 losses… that’s freaking exceptional. The quality of the teams they were playing could be a good argument against the success but lots of those wins came in the African Cup of Nations. They beat Lesotho 7-0. They are a straight powerhouse when it comes to African football. But, they are not going to be playing African football anymore. They are in group C of the 2026 World Cup. They are in a group with Brazil, Haiti, and Scotland. I seriously think the Moroccans can beat Brazil, and don’t be surprised if they do. Because this team is filled with talent. They play a 4-2-3-1 brand of football and focus on a disciplined organized and clean play. They will moved fast and play hard. Their key player or X factor would be Hakimi, he won the 2025 champions league with PSG this past summer. They also have a Real Madrid forward by the name of Brahim Díaz. Ayoub El Kaabi played with Olympiacos and in 28 matches he scored 18 goals and had 2 assists. I’ll let that speak for itself. Morocco has won me over as a fan in the past couple days and I fully believe in this team. I’m excited to watch them come June and hopefully into July. Do you think the Atlas Lions can stay hot?
