A lot less competitive than I was hoping down the stretch. Alex Caraban was incredible in this game. UCLA were going to be in a desperate state entering this game without Bilodeau and it was just too much for them

I was at this game, competitive first half and competitive in spurts in the second half, but ultimately not too great. Shame bilodeau didn’t play, would’ve been an entirely different game if he did play. Bruins offense just got too stagnant, couldn’t score for stretches in the second half. Two killshots from UConn did us in. Disappointing end to a great late season run

This was the battle of the pyscho coaches between Mick Cronin and Dan Hurley and UConn comes out on top. UConn simply outclasses UCLA in most every area of the game. More talent, more grit, better coaching. Perhaps if Bilodeau had played, this would’ve been a tighter contest. I always hate to see guys so important to their teams not be able to compete in the biggest moments due to injuries. That being said, Connecticut just took care of business. I expect nothing less from UConn and Hurley.
