MLB • Field of Dreams Game08/12/2021

I love special occasion games. I have an obsession in collecting jerseys for said special edition jerseys. For example I have 4 outdoor hockey jerseys that I really cherish, and a WBC jersey in my collection. With the field of dreams coming back as of August 13, 2026 (today) it was great that this was the throwback game. What a banger, home runs after home runs, comeback after a failed comeback, this game was just so fun. Can’t believe at one time Tim Anderson was considered a great baseball player. Sad that he fell off after getting the Sonic rings knocked out of him. I can’t wait for tonight’s game

such a fun concept that the MLB absolutely nailed from the beginning. the whole presentation of this game was perfect to a degree where it honestly didn't even matter if the game was bad. fortunately, the game was awesome and we got a 6 run 9th inning ending on a walkoff for the white sox. i dream of a sandlot version of this one day but for now this is good enough.
