He tried sneaking a first pitch fastball for a strike and Buxton was hunting it and crushed it. He’s unreal and as a lead off hitter in his career has now hit 26 homeruns to open a game. The game felt like a homerun derby. Taj was leaving hanging breaking balls left and right as Dingler and Greene both took him deep. Josh Bell hit his 200th career homerun. Brooks Lee and Kody Clemens went back to back at one point. Dingler got his second homerun of the game in the later innings as the Tigers pulled away with the game. ”
