“I gotta hand it to the Nuggets. They’ve delivered 3 of the worst games I’ve ever seen them play this series. I’ve been watching for 14 years and all 3 of these losses would be in my bottom 5 nuggets games of all time. I’m not mad, I’m just sad about what this represents. I’ve seen the Denver Nuggets be the fourth most popular team in Colorado. It wasn’t like how the Rockies are treated right now. People at least can feel fond about having multiple great players play their best seasons in Colorado. The Nuggets biggest cultural impacts on basketball were English, Melo, and a few years of AI. With the exception of English, none of those guys were remembered as Nuggets. We were truly forgettable. I dread the thought that maybe The Nuggets are on the start of the road to being forgotten again…”
