Durant Goes Golden

On this day in 2016, Kevin Durant made one of the most controversial moves in NBA history. Durant announced via The Players Tribune that he would be teaming up with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and the reigning NBA champions, the Golden State Warriors. Durant ultimately won back-to-back championships with the Warriors in 2017 & 2018, winning finals MVP in both years.
