@j4c3's rating of Cornhuskers vs Hawkeyes

@j4c3 rated the Cornhuskers vs Hawkeyes game 8.0 out of 10 in CBB on March 26, 2026. Final score: Cornhuskers 71 – Hawkeyes 77. S16. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

I jokingly referred to this matchup as the “Battle of Agriculture” ahead of the game, and it sure was a battle. To be honest, I don’t totally understand how Nebraska lost this game. They were up 12-2 at the beginning and it felt like they would run away. Even though Iowa managed to stay attached, it still felt like Nebraska was in control. Iowa didn’t take its first lead until extremely late in the second half, and they never relinquished it. I love Stirtz and Folgueiras. This Hawkeyes group will never have to pay for a meal in Iowa again. Elite Eight is crazyyy. Shoutout Ben McCollum you absolute mastermind. He could make this Iowa squad a powerhouse in the Big Ten in the coming years. Nebraska fans will remember this run forever, and it was very special to everybody around the program. I’m sure coach Hoiberg will have these guys as a perennial tournament team moving forward.
