@mattschmidt's rating of Thunder vs Warriors

@mattschmidt rated the Thunder vs Warriors game 7.7 out of 10 in NBA on May 31, 2016. Final score: Thunder 88 – Warriors 96. Conf. Finals. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

this is the toughest game i've ever rated. at a point in time this game broke me. this game had so many implications and caused one of the greater ripple effects in sports. my rating also changes based on when im rating it. if i rated this in 2016, it would be a 0 as i would have just watched my team blow a 3-1 lead in the conference finals to arguably the greatest team of all time. if I had rated this prior to the thunder winning the finals last season it would probably get a 6-6.5 because the play on the court wasn't exactly great. the thunder weren't great and apart from steph, no one on the warriors did anything crazy. however, after watching my team win I am far less bitter about this game (to the surprise of no one). with that being said, I have tried to take everything into account, the on court product, how it made me feel, the context of a blown 3-1 lead, a trip to the nba finals on the line and the ripple effect. a 7.7 may seem low but I can't forget how this game killed me.
