“Marina Mabrey just went out and torched the ever living hell out of the Plum-leas Sparks and yet, she wasn’t voted an all-star by the fans… okay. Don’t worry, she’ll just go out and make you all look like the FOOLS YOU ARE. Sure, the Sparks can’t play defence but no defense in the W is able to stop Mabrey when she gets that hot from deep. This game was a blowout basically immediately and it became the Mabrey show as I waited anxiously as she got closer and closer to the single game scoring record. When she hit it, I thought she was gonna break it for sure! Unfortunately she is only tied for the record, but still, what a performance from Toronto’s first star in the W! I was initially splitting my time between this and Tunisia-Netherlands, but it didn’t take long for this game to become the far more appealing option. Edit: On 2nd thought, THIS IS TORONTO’S FIRST ICONIC PERFORMANCE IN THE W. I have to rate it in the green, it’ll just be a low green. The game itself wasn’t great. ”
