“He is supposed to have a statue” - the depressed mavericks fans. I actually have a friend who is a mavs fan. Once I found out about the news, I called him. No answer. Texted him, left on delivered. So, I did what anyone would do. I went to his home (he live 3 minutes away) and knocked on his door. When I came inside he was watching this game. With his Luka mavs jersey. I watched it with him as we talked. It was like a piece of him died. After the game, he stood up thanked me for the company, threw his Luka jersey away. And shut the door. After the NBA draft my friend had a Flagg jersey and swore that Coop would save the team. Thanks Nico for ruining my friends life. 😭
