The Nuggets-Lakers rivalry continues, sadly without the central character Jokic. He isn’t the only one that’s always eager to beat the Lakers, Jamal Murray was feeling himself early. Unfortunately for the Nuggets, Luka was feeling himself too. The Nuggets had much more of a team effort while Luka was more of a one-man show alongside Lebron playing the role of Dick Grayson Robin specially because he’s eager to run the show himself when he can. This game was neck-and-neck throughout until one run completely changed the outlook of this game. The 16-0 Lakers run in the 4th quarter was the killer, even with the Nuggets cutting it close later, the Lakers couldn’t be caught. This game got very messy at the end and not for good reason. Techs and bad calls sullied the ending. Thankfully, it didn’t change the inevitable. The Nuggets’ offense is still clearly effective without Jokic, but it doesn’t have the same punch which is even worse when they can’t grab a rebound to save their life.
