“This series is going to be a dogfight all the way and I love it so much. We also got one of the greatest poster dunks of all-time with Castle’s dunk on Hartenstein. Hartenstein showed everyone how he felt about that by pulling Castle’s hair later in this game (and somehow not getting called for it). That incident aside, this was another great game, just not as legendary as game 1. Wemby got off to a slow start this time, but eventually found his game and shifted the balance of power like he always does. Crucially, Shai was not only better compared to game 1, but he was also much less reliant on free throws. The true star of this game was OKC’s bench. No matter what adversity the starters faced, the Thunder recovered. J-Dub gets hurt? No worries, we’ll have 4 guys put up double digit points off the bench. No starter can hit a 3? Bench shoots nearly 50% from 3. Caruso was especially impactful with both his defense and scoring. This is why OKC is so tough to deal with, insanely good depth”
