“This is such an incredible way to make it into the World Cup for DR Congo. They struck in the 5th minute with a goal but it was called back for offside, and then there was no scoring for the entirety of regulation. While I find it quite boring, there is some beauty to a game that’s just a defensive battle all the way through. Then finally, in the 100th minute, they finally scored off a corner kick and the fans just absolutely erupted. DR Congo is headed to their first World Cup under that name. Their reward? They immediately get to play Ronaldo and Portugal. Just imagine the scene if, no WHEN, they pull off that historic upset. 🇨🇩🇨🇩🇨🇩”
