“i still remember this game vividly. i was in new york city and watched the first half in a restaurant, then watched the second half in our hotel room. as the second half went on, it looked more likely argentina would pull it off, but then mbappe happened. same thing in extra time, that emi martinez save at the end nearly gave me a heart attack. this entire game was cinema and is the greatest football game ever imo. i also remember seeing crowds of argentinian fans in times square celebrating hours after the game which was pretty great.”
