A lot closer game than I expected it to be. Spurs were 22 points ahead at a point then they just let that momentum go and gave NOLA the lead. Spurs made sure to get back up in the end and it was close but they made sure it ended that way.

THE SPURS SURVIVE A NAIL-BITER! First off, hats off to Derik Queen for his amazing performance, he was definitely the player of the game as he went off for ~33 points and ALMOST hit the game winning dagger (keyword ALMOST). He also had his first career triple double (first of MANY). I also want to shoutout the Pelicans in general for almost winning a game they were at one point down 22, they fought really hard and it showed throughout the game.

This game was upsetting. Man, I pray Wemby recovers just fine after that hard fall. I think he will be good, hopefully even to come back for the playoffs, but if he needs time give him time. And this is why I’ve been harping on Fox. The dude has to step up for moments like this. He was just ok. Very much just ok for a playoff game against an above average team(saying it how it is). Everyone has to too though. The Spurs really could have and should have had this one but they looked rocked after Wemby left. He’s still sadly an injury prone player especially with how athletic he is on the court. So, the rest of the boys gotta be prepared to cover for him. This game the just didn’t.
