“The Rays had a no-hitter through 8 innings thanks to 1.1 no hit innings from Casey Legumina and 6.2 from Ian Seymour. Craig Kimbrel came into the game for the ninth, walked Starling Marte (who was the only other baserunner the rest of the game on a walk in the sixth), struck out Tyler Tolbert, then lost the no hitter on a homer by Carter Jensen. He closed out the game following that homer, but ultimately ended it knowing he had lost some history in the process. Overall great game from the Rays’ pitching staff. Junior Caminero also hit 3 homers in this game, with one being off of Tyler Tolbert (primarily an infielder) in the eighth.”
