“Raptors continue to play their best basketball at the right time. Unfortunately this game didn’t continue their brief win-streak, but I cannot complain about their effort. Even though a familiar problem cropped up. Jakob Poeltl continues to prove his worth and Scottie Barnes has was brilliant. I wish he was more aggressive, but his playmaking has become elite and he did great job districting the ball. He also did an admirable job defending Joker. Of course, Joker is a top 3 player so even a great defender can’t stop him completely, but it was Jamal Murray who gave us the most problems. His 31 points along with a health sample of Tim Hardaway Jr. 3s helped the Nuggets beat the Raptors. The other factor that helped was Toronto going ice-cold in the 4th quarter which is something I hoped we’d finally stop doing. This game had a really bizarre and crappy ending, but it doesn’t affect the rating too much as the result would’ve remained the same regardless. Go kick some ass in Phoenix.”
