@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Avalanche vs Golden Knights

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Avalanche vs Golden Knights game 4.8 out of 10 in NHL on May 27, 2026. Final score: Avalanche 1 – Golden Knights 2. Conf. Finals. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

Getting this out of the way first, Vegas earned it. I certainly thought Colorado had a Finals appearance in the palm of their hand. Instead, Vegas bullied them and won. For this game, Colorado felt like a dead team walking, even with MacKinnon returning. Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar even said so after game 3 when he described the Avs as completely demoralized. Pessimism was at an all-time high. They validated that fear by playing like crap. I couldn’t credit the assaulter, even if I wanted to, because Colorado had so few shots. Just 21 shots in a do-or-die game is pathetic. Not like they were getting good quality. On a more positive note, I feel like Mark Stone is getting ignored. He just came back from injury, just like both MacKinnon and Makar did, and he scored crucial goals in to help Vegas complete the sweep. This game is also salvaged by the fact that it is technically close. But that only made it so I didn’t consider putting it in the red, felt inevitable. Congrats Ras!
