“Magic started slow, but after the first quarter it was all Orlando. Magic relied on the Timberwolves to play iso ball and after Anthony Edwards scored 17 points in the first quarter, other key guys on the Timberwolves like Jaden McDaniels, Donte DiVincenzo failed to make shots and get into a consent rhythm on offense. This lead to lot of Timberwolves iso ball and settling for contested pull up jumpers which didn’t work for them. This strategy defensively from the magic allowed the Timberwolves to only shoot 35% from the field and 22% from three. Magic are now on a three game win streak and have won 9 of their last 13 games, they snap the Timberwolves 5 game winning streak. If this consistent play for the magic continues, I can see them making it out of the play in tournament and making it to the first round of the playoffs. Desmond Bane leads the way for the magic with 30 points.”
