“Another game that I needed to gather my thoughts on. Watched this from San Pedro Square, the HEART of world cup football in the Bay Area. And man, i gotta give a shoutout to the Masr fans out there. They showed up with us Iranians, it was 50/50 in a crowd that reached the thousands. All watching soccer in an alleyway, how about that? Masr started with an early goal to the delight of the Pharaohs. Taremi took a penalty 5 mintues later, and was staring at a tie game. But Shobeir made the SAVE OF HIS CAREER. Well maybe not that but still an electric save. But it was Iran who capitalized on a through ball that looked surely out, Rezaeian found the back of the net on a BEAUTIFUL shot to tie it back up. Both of our teams went back up and down the pitch, anxiety through the roof. An atmosphere that was better than being in the stadium itself, I'm not joking. Our chants were so synced up to the point where either team's supporters would blow their horn, and half the crowd would respond with ”
