“Jordan's first World Cup match was certainly a fun watch. Austria controlled the first half, led by a goal about halfway through. However, Jordan took control in the second half, 5 minutes in tying the game. Austria then looked to have taken the lead, but it was called off for a handball, a call that I thought was not the correct call. However, it would not matter as, with the help of a lucky bounce off a Jordanian's back, Austria would get their well-deserved goal on the other end of the hydration break. Austria then nailed a penalty kick to end the game. Of course, neither of these teams come anywhere close to even being competitive with Argentina, but it will be fun to watch who can come out with second in the group, and I think that will be Austria.”
