“BRANDON BUSSI IS THE BUS STOP! He's the driving force to the Carolina Hurricanes, the player and the team that finally broke the "choker" allegations and gave Carolina its first Stanley Cup since 2006 (and to be frank, this is probably the only hardware that city will ever get) Jabs aside, the Hurricanes came out strong in the first period, Taylor Hall had a wrist shot goal into the net to make it 1-0 at Vegas. Logan Stankoven with a crucial pass to Jackson Blake that makes it 2-0. MEANWHILE, the Vegas Golden Knights weren't even getting shots in. It felt like the once gallant team had turned pale. The 3rd period was no different, and after a late Ehlers goal in the last gasps, it was definitely over. Carter Hart off the ice? If the NHL had a spine he wouldn't even be here. Oh well, I shouldn't be mad. I'm glad the Pacific Division didn't win this year, the biggest disgrace to professional sports since the NFC South.
