“Another game decided by PKs. Netherlands really just didn't impress me very much. Gakpo scored a very nice goal but Morocco soon equalized. I expected Morocco to be a one year wonder in 2022 and they played much better than I expected against this Dutch squad. At this point, extra time is just pointless. They just pass the ball around for 30 minutes and everyone is tired as hell. Just send it straight to penalties at this point. The PK shootout crazy hits off the post and just another amazingly suspenseful shootout. Morocco's second shot was wild, saved, and he own goaled it. Just absolutely brutal. The third guys to go up, perfect composure and even more perfect shots. That right there is how you take a PK. Then a short run-up and a terrible miss wide left. That is how you do NOT take a PK. A perfect save on Summerville's attempt, his lack of PK experience showed. Saibari, blood on his face earlier, comes up clutch and says good night. Perfect PK shootout.”
