Nikola Jokic is back! Thank god. Even better, he did not disappoint in his return. The Nuggets get an important win in preparation for their key matchup with the Thunder. Don’t think this was easy. Jokic was far from the only player who did not disappoint. James Harden continued adding to maybe his best season post-Houston. Despite the largest Clippers lead coming at the very start of the game, Harden kept LA in this game and made sure Denver couldn’t pull away completely. Kawhi and John Collins also helped in that regard. Nuggets kept their lead throughout thanks to Tim Hardaway Jr. and Jamal Murray. When he hit the floater-3 to beat the 3rd quarter buzzer, the game could’ve ended. Still, the Clippers stuck around, so Jokic decided to take over. With the help of some free throws, Jokic absolutely went off. He showed off the playmaking that has made him a legend along with the scoring that has made him one of the best offensive weapons ever. He turned a close game into a blowout.
