The Thunder blew up the Sun(s). There wasn’t even a supernova, they just sucked the life out like they are Solaris or Necrozma (massive props if someone knows both those references). This game shows the massive gap between the Thunder and the rest of the NBA. 2 nights ago, the Suns used gritty defense and a team effort to barely beat Ant and the Wolves. Tonight, the Thunder eviscerated them. The Suns never led at any point in this game, the Thunder won every quarter by double digits and won this game by nearly 50 points. Somehow it feels like they still held back as it could’ve easily been a 60 point win had any starter played more than 30 minutes. Shai was the only starter who played more than 25. I love great basketball, the Thunder certainly play incredible dominant basketball on both sides of the court. No hate there. But in the words of the commentator in the broadcast I watched “there was absolutely no drama in this one”. We knew the outcome before it started.
