“The calls were questionable, the ref was spamming yellows to a frustrated Egyptian bench, and VAR was inconsistent, but it added to the drama. I just get frustrated when players dive looking for a foul. But wow, what a game and a great comeback from Argentina, showing that they can fight back when they are down. However, Egypt and Cabo Verde also showed us that Argentina is vulnerable by pushing them to the limit. I feel bad for Egypt because they had two great goals, but one was disallowed over a late VAR review. I can't feel too bad for them, though, because they really let Argentina score two goals in the second half in a few short minutes and then a third at the end. ”
