“Haiti had so many chances late in this one and just couldn't convert. Both teams stayed very resilient throughout the game, and I really can't tell if this made me think better or worse of Scotland. I expected them to win this game by 2 or 3 goals, but Haiti kept it much closer than that. On the other hand, the way they stayed determined and found a way to hold off every late chance Haiti had was very impressive. This just isn't a good game to judge Scotland off of. Friday against Morocco will be the real determiner of how good this Scotland team is and whether or not they will be able to compete against Brazil and in the knockout rounds, if they make it.”
