“Fun fact: I’m typing this rating while in a plane. I sadly missed a chunk of this game, but I saw enough to know the Aces had this in the bag. As if the rest of the series didn’t tell us that already. While it’s a shame this series ended in a sweep, I can’t say the winner didn’t deserve it and I’m glad the Mercury didn’t make it too easy. A’ja Wilson is submitting her case as the WNBA GOAT with a legendary performance in these finals. But every GOAT needs their partner in crime and Wilson’s is Chelsea Gray who put in one more masterful performance to help the Aces become a true dynasty. 3 championships in 4 years.”
