This game was an instant classic. The circumstances of Ole Miss losing their coach, the even matching at the start, the drama of the Dawgs going up at half, the Rebels stealing the momentum, Georgia tying it up, and the pure insanity of the final drive and Georgia’s (futile) efforts to take it last second. This rivals ND-A&M for game of the season in every facet of the game, and while only hindered by the deliberation of the referees lasting a little too long, this game will be remembered for the ages.
