“Immediate downside: I had to watch Deshaun Watson and remember he still exists. Even worse, the Bears defense made him look competent. Thankfully, the Bears woke up and gave us a feel-good story with Salvon Ahmed’s touchdown coming off a foot injury and most importantly, the Browns lost. Not only did they lose, they got wrecked after the 1st quarter. I know wins and losses don’t matter here, but it’s the principle. I just wish Watson had thrown a pick. Partially because I never want him to play, but also because the optics wouldn’t look so bad for Shedeur and Dillon Gabriel. Unlike some people, I don’t hate Shedeur, but I worry if he has made significant strides in his game. He’s still tough and can make the occasional nice play, but he has more bad plays than good ones. Gabriel is just nothing tbh, which is also not good. Cleveland is so screwed while Chicago has seemingly escaped the darkness. Ironically the Bears had more QBs than bad ones. Plus Kromah was fantastic rushing the QB. ”
