@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Cavaliers vs Hornets

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Cavaliers vs Hornets game 8.1 out of 10 in NBA on February 21, 2026. Final score: Cavaliers 118 – Hornets 113. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

Hornets gave the Cavs a big scare in the final minute, but they remained composed and hung on for the win. Prior to this game, James Harden said Jarrett Allen is “Better than I thought he was”. Let’s ignore that Harden played with Allen back in Brooklyn for a second and praise Allen for proving Harden correct. 15 and 7 on great efficiency in the first half accounted for more than a quarter of Cleveland’s point. If we add in Mitchell’s rocky 15 points, it’s more than half. Allen continued his wonderful play in the 2nd half. He finished with an uber-efficient 26 points, but it was his scrappy rebounding that won the day. Down the stretch he made sure Charlotte never had a chance to climb back into this game until it was too late with his rebounds. Mitchell put up a bit of a shaky 30 points, but 30 is still 30 and the Cavs needed that 30. Combining Mitchell and Allen’s points alone gives you nearly half of what the Cavs got all night and Harden was the only other Cav with more than 10.
