“Great physical game and the refs just had to ruin it. Both Charlotte and Detroit came to play and it is unfortunately only 1 team could win. Through 3 and a half quarters it was awesome fast-paced physical basketball where the margin of error was basically 0. Event better, it played like a playoff game with how physical it was, culminating into the ultimate escalation, a brawl. Diabité and Duren were the source with some jawing and Duren swatting him away. Miles Bridges attacked Duren and Isaiah Stewart attacked Bridges to give us 4 ejections. Say what you want, nobody got hurt and the animosity is fun to watch. What’s not fun is watching the refs call a BS foul on a flop and then Charlotte’s coach gets thrown out when he calls them out. It’s a testament to the Hornets’ resiliency that they didn’t back down. Kon hit back-to-back 3s immediately after. Sadly, their shots finally dried up in the final minutes and it cost them. Reed came in for Duren and provided a much-needed spark. ”
