@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Bucks vs Hawks

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Bucks vs Hawks game 7.6 out of 10 in NBA on January 19, 2026. Final score: Bucks 112 – Hawks 110. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

The Milwaukee Bucks, who drafted legendary activist Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and hired the first black GM in Wayne Embry, beat the team that once traded Bill Russell away because the owner didn’t want a black player to be the star of the team. Kinda fitting on MLK day. The Hawks couldn’t have started this game much worse. 1/22 from 3. No wonder they couldn’t score 20 points in a quarter, looking like we’re back in the 2000s. Shockingly, Milwaukee couldn’t pull away completely. Atlanta figured themselves out with the help of Jalen Johnson and so many offensive rebounds. Johnson and Okungwu can take credit for that. Milwaukee still managed to hang on tho, thanks to Giannis having a regular game by his lofty standards, Bobby Portis harnessing his 2021 form with nearly 20 points off the bench and Kyle Kuzma of all people getting the game sealing block on CJ McCollum. This game started off really poorly in terms of entertainment value, but really figured itself out in the 2nd half and thank god.
