“I tweeted it during the game but watching Embiid play, sometimes I just laugh. I mean, he sometimes just makes the game look so easy. He had 35 points and was just making midrange after midrange, getting to exactly where he wanted, and you just knew it was going in. It’s moments like tonight where I just ask myself, “what if?” What if he had been able to stay healthy all these years? He’s unquestionably one of the best scorers we’ve ever seen, and he’s had stretches of dominance comparable to the games best. It’s a shame he will likely end his career without even a conference finals appearance, as I believe he’s one of the most talented, most gifted basketball players we’ve seen, and he deserves a ring and a spot in the hall of fame. ”
