Because the Fever won this game, the Aces then won the rest of the series because that makes sense. Anyways, the Aces won their 3rd championship in 4 years. Decent chance this was a part of the cause for the new salary rules in the WNBA, raising the salary cap to $7 million dollars and the minimum salary being $270,000. Had the Fever won it all, the WNBA may have seen it as less competitive imbalance and it would've been harder for the players to fight for their extra pay.”
