“The National Blowout Association (shoutout to pwood68). We really shouldn’t be surprised, but this one hurts me specifically because Phoenix managed to actually fool me for a quarter. The Suns have fallen apart since their hot start, but, as some Suns fans pointed out, Phoenix was never the 8th seed during the regular season. OKC would surely still win, but maybe the Suns could make it interesting. They went up 5-0 about 2 minutes into the game and then lost the last 10 minutes of the 1st 35-15. It was the start of the 2nd quarter that fooled me. The Suns looked like they could show life when Gillespie hit that 3. Again, never thought Phoenix would win, just thought they’d make it interesting and they couldn’t even do that. OKC’s defense was too debilitating for Phoenix to do anything. Jalen Green looked nothing like his play-in self and Booker could only do so much. The OKC big 3 dominated and SGA had the exact kind of game some fans assume he has every night. Hoping for better.”
