“Great win. Got it started in the 2nd inning with Monasterio and Ceddanne homering. Good to see the offense getting started early in the game, and then of course they do their normal thing of getting a huge rally in the 9th inning to make the game look like a blowout. Payton Tolle needed this good start. Tough outing last time against the Nationals, but today 6 innings shutout with only 2 hits allowed, and after some hot water for the bullpen from Danny Coulombe, Justin Slaten gets us out of it. I originally liked the Coulombe signing, thought he was a good lefty reliever to get after Gregory Soto went elsewhere, but he's been terrible. Overall thought a great win, and that's now 4 straight wins to start the road trip. They got hot around the All-Star break last year, are they doing it again this year? Honestly though, I'd prefer they miss the playoffs this year, if they make the -playoffs they won't go anywhere and missing the playoffs would be a higher likelihood Craig gets fired.”
