Spurs started terribly and fell behind 17–3, but then flipped everything with a 37–15 second quarter to take control. Stephon Castle led with 23 points and 8 assists, while Victor Wembanyama added 21 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks. San Antonio even built a 24-point lead, but the Clippers made a late push behind Darius Garland 25 & 10 and cut it to 4 points in the final minute before Spurs closed it with free throws. The win also gave the Spurs their 50th win of the season and continued their crazy 18–2 run, while the Clippers struggled without Kawhi.”
