“People have no idea what this means for the people in Indiana. I’ve heard from many people who had to sit through the worst football program ever, and they cannot believe the life they live. I was told by my uncle that they beat the ghost of Bear Bryant and the spirit of Nick Saban. I was told by another person I know that this has been their dream of the last 50 years. Obviously UK and IU don’t like each other at all, but I enjoy seeing them have this. It’s not slander to admit that they haven’t had much in the past few decades. Loserville got that title, stripped, Cincinnati made the CFP a while back, and Indiana pulled this one off. I don’t hate it for them. I know people very close to me that ride or die for these schools, I’m very sure that’s how they consider me with Kentucky. Truth of the matter is, I get tired of suffering from a success all the time. I always like to share that feeling. If it means IU wins, happy for my friends and family. If it means Bama loses, happy for me.”
