It was slow going, but this turned from a pretty good game to a GREAT game. The Suns looked like they were going to win this one with ease and then “POOF” the Magic tied it up and sent this game to overtime. Neither team shot particularly well, but through the scrappy efforts of some guards along with some clutch shooting when they needed it most. Desmond Bane initially looked like the hero in this game. He balled out with 34 points alongside one of the few efficient outings in this game. Instead, we got a wonderful redemption story. When we got into overtime, Jalen Green started it by missing 2 free throws and the Magic proceeded to take a 4 point lead. After 10 more minutes of tight scrappy basketball, Jalen Green became the new hero. After Jevon Carter hit a game tying 3, Green casually hit a game winning 3 to end this game. I initially thought this was going to be a mid-to-high 7, but even with the bits of sloppiness and poor shooting, this became a great game down the stretch.
