Stone-Cold Christmas classic. While the NFL’s games were stumbling and close to falling on their butts, the NBA closed out Christmas Day in the best way. Made me wish I wasn’t in such an inconvenient time zone which made me fall asleep before I could rate it. Legendary duel between Nikola Jokic and Anthony Edwards. Jokic putting up insane numbers. Calling them video game numbers isn’t even fair because I’m not sure you could do that in a video game without jacking up the sliders in 2K. Anthony Edwards also fuelling those MJ comparisons with a killer performance in the 4th quarter and overtime to help the Timberwolves complete the comeback and leave Denver with a win. While I will admit the Anthony Edwards ejection was weird af, it shouldn’t take away from this holiday masterpiece. Mainly because it wasn’t the deciding factor, at least in my mind. The deciding factor was one of the best duos the NBA has ever seen: The Joker and the Blue Arrow. Love seeing small markets thrive in the NBA
