“Incredible game to end one of the best playoff series ever. One of my personal greatest memories is watching this game, in the basement, with my dad. My dad doesn’t watch basketball, he played it a lot in his youth, but he doesn’t watch today. For reference, he had never heard of Kawhi Leonard before 2019. I actually attended game 1 of this series and the atmosphere was insane. That vibe was cranked up to 1000 for game 7, the feeling of anxious hope. Throughout the first half as Toronto’s defense was playing excellent, shutting down Philly’s offense, but outside of Kawhi, we were also struggling. The Raptors couldn’t pull away. Entering the 4th, we needed Kawhi to take over, which is exactly what he did. Unfortunately, the 76ers figured it out too. When Siakam put us up 4, I thought we had it, but when Butler tied it up, I got a sinking feeling. Then, the board man did what he did that entire season, COME UP CLUTCH. A few bounces later and my dad and I sounded like the TnT commentators”
