“The Dallas Mavericks beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 130–120, surprising Cleveland just two days after losing to them badly. Rookie Cooper Flagg led Dallas with 27 points, 10 assists, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks, running the offense all night. Dallas basically won the game in the third quarter, outscoring Cleveland 40–27 and taking control. Naji Marshall added 25 points and P.J. Washington had 20 points and 11 rebounds. For Cleveland, Donovan Mitchell finished with 26 points and 11 assists, and Max Strus scored 24 in his season debut, but the Cavs defense struggled badly. The win also snapped Dallas 7-game losing streak against Cleveland and was only their second win in the last 11 games, which makes the result pretty surprising.”
