“Yet another good pitching performance that was wasted by the Angels. Zack Wheeler and Yusei Kikuchi were almost identical today as they both gave up one run on four hits through six innings, but Kikuchi came back out for the seventh. He would give up a go-ahead homer to Edmundo Sosa, and it was all downhill from there. The Phillies put up three in the eighth for a ton of insurance. The Angels never came close to recovering even though Trout did double to knock in a run in the ninth. The Halos never cease to disappoint as they lose their 7th striaght. They need to finish the season 11-14”
