“This team is not a playoff team. Never was. Thank you Mickey “Barry Bonds” Gasper for showing me that. He allowed it to get to extras where the Marlins let the Red Sox win but wait the Red Sox let a passed ball get by on the game ending strike three to give the Marlins a chance. Then they proceed to give up a demolished grand slam to Jarren Duran. This team does not nearly produce enough on offense to make any kind of run. When they were good in June/beginning of July, the offense was producing. But that hasn’t stayed the same. When they lost 12 straight, the offense didn’t produce and the bullpen couldn’t keep it close late. The bullpen has been decent lately but the offense has been nowhere near good. No runs being produced. The Marlins will end under .500 this season, potentially with a worse record than last year due to them playing so many playoff teams down the stretch. Most of this team has been pitiful since the all-star break. Inexcusable atrociousness.”
