“Been sitting on this one for a longgggg while. This game has a great story from my perspective. On Christmas Day, I turned this game on right before I had lunch with my family. Because I love my family, I mainly focussed on them instead of the game. Fast forward to the end of the 1st quarter, Cleveland is winning by 15. Mitchell already has 12 points, Garland has 9 himself and the Knicks are struggling to get anything going. I then sat in the family room and watched the Knicks systematically slice through the Cavs’ vaunted defense and take the lead going into halftime. 3rd quarter then emphatically went Cleveland’s way again and I, no joke, said “Cleveland has this in the bag” to my mom when he asked who I thought was gonna win. Brunson and Tyler Kolek then happened and I felt like a chump. Cavs fans, if you want to blame anyone for your team blowing multiple double digit leads after odd-numbered quarters, feel free to blame me for jinxing your team. Sorry.”
