Wow. I had a feeling this would be a blowout, except I thought it would be the other way around. Fair play Sacramento. The Knicks scored the first 4 points of this game before the Kings took the lead back with a DeRozan fadeaway and Lavine 3-pointer 1:38 into the game. From that point on, the Knicks never led again and the Kings eventually held a 20 point lead going into the 4th quarter which the Knicks cut down to 12 thanks to the Kings taking their foot off the gas. Don’t blame me, they’re not used to being in the driver’s seat. Lavine and DeRozan led the way obviously, looking like they’re back on the Bulls with some good performances. Westbrook failed at the triple double side quest but had a good game regardless. The Knicks for their part really struggled shooting the ball. Idk if I should credit the Kings’ defense or the Knicks poor play, but something was off with them. Can’t even blame turnovers for this one. The Knicks only had 9 compared to the Kings’ 17. Prayers for Brunson.
